Gettin my hair Did

So I don't know how many times I have changed my hair over the years. The worst was the really short one a WEEK before my wedding. UH! And today I am getting my hair done and I am not sure with what color or cut. I really would love to grow it out. So I thinkI might just get a trim or nothing, but maybe a little bit of highlights (natural ones) or what you all think? Jared likes me blond, but the up keep gets to me. I will post an after picture tomorrow!
