We were lucky enough to get to go to Texas last weekend and spend time with Jared's family. Jared's Mom -Grandma Wright got to meet Noah for the first time. Jared's uncle who is in the service flew in from Germany and ALL of Jared's aunts and uncles were there (well the Abbot ones. Some spouses weren't able to make it). We flew in Friday and Noah did so good on the plane. I was a wreck...I lost everything on the way and at the last minute would find it. I also got air sick on the first take off, but recovered by the time we got to Texas. We got in late and woke up Noah to meet his grandma! I hardly got to hold him all weekend because everyone was holding him. They loved him! Poor Grandpa Wright (Jared's dad) hasn't got to meet him yet...soon we hope! While in Texas we had so much fun! We stayed with Jared's Uncle Jared and Aunt Cheri (The ones we went to temple square with after Thanksgiving). They have 3 beautiful children. Jessica, William and Emily. Emily kept calling Noah her baby. Here is a picture of them on the "bean bag", William is reading Noah a story.

The second day we all just hung out and had a great time! We prepared for the big Sunday dinner and had such a blast! On Sunday everyone was there and we ate and ate and ate. We took family photos:
Here are all the Abbott kids!
Here they are being silly. Uncle Kent was messing with Grandpa's come over.
Here are some grand kids and kids trying to keep Grandma warm.
After our pictures and WONDERFUL dinner we went to the Gaylord Hotel to walk around and see the beautiful Christmas lights.
On Monday we went to breakfast at the Original pancake house. Then went to Dealy Plaza where JFK was shot. Jared went over to the grassy knoll and stood on the X where JFK was hit. We toured the awesome museum and learned a lot. Jared is really into the conspiracy now. We all went back home ate some more, napped and then headed home. We had so much fun!! If Jared had his way we would move there right now. I do see us going there some day.
